Go for a Long below Knee length Kurti with Straight Cut from front and Long Cut from side (that shows a little waist). This would add an oomph factor along with the traditional look if you are looking for that. It should have Three Fourth Frill Sleeves with Golden Border so it will match with the Palazzo Pants. I think black, white, pewter, or charcoal grey would be good. You could also go for one in the same colour as the shirt with a slightly unusual texture, or material with a slight, very subtle, pattern. A lilac tie in the same shade, or a couple of tones lighter, or darker would be nice. A subtle pattern, or texture in the material would be nice. A pewter, grey, white, or black tie would also work, but I would break up the texture, with a subtle, pattern, or difference in the type of material. If you went for a white waistcoat, a white tie would be nice, I think that would work better with white trousers though.
